By creating an account or purchasing a service from The Memory Source LLC, you agree to the following terms:
1. The Service & Fees
Initial Purchase: The one-time fee of $149 covers the creation of one (1) digital timeline, hosting for twelve (12) months, and the registration/mapping of one (1) custom domain.
Maintenance Fee: After the initial 12-month period, a recurring Maintenance Fee (currently $25/year) is required to maintain the custom domain and active hosting.
No-Ads Guarantee: We promise that no third-party advertisements will ever be displayed on your timeline.
2. Content Ownership & Conduct
Your Content: You retain full ownership of all photos and text uploaded to your site. You grant us a limited license to host and display this content on your behalf.
Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates the intellectual property of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.
3. Renewal & Cancellation
Optional Renewal: The Maintenance Fee is optional. If you choose not to renew, your custom domain will expire.
Data Preservation: If the Maintenance Fee is not paid, we reserve the right to move your site to a your-name.thememorysource.com subdomain to keep the legacy accessible, or to archive the site until payment is resumed. We will not delete your memories without 60 days' notice.
4. Limitation of Liability
Service Availability: While we strive for 100% uptime, we are not liable for temporary service interruptions.
California Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
